Ken's Bio Ken is lyricist and melody writer from North Carolina capable of working in multiple genres. His journey into music production began in 2021 with his first EP “Ask You,” a Country leaning piece. Taking a break from production, he reemerged in 2025 steering in a jazzier direction. That resulted “Liberty Street Sessions,” a stripped-down studio EP highlighting vocal artistry. Looking for ways to promote that work on a lean budget led to his discovery of AI videos, and by extension, AI music generators.

Experimenting with music generators led to a true Eureka moment. Generators (despite requiring multiple edits to get the right mix at times), were better at melody construction than he was. The result is his current LP “Grab Bag,” a multi-genre collaboration of man and machine: his lyrics, its audio and music. Getting the right mix in the right genre was no small feat.

So, why did he go the AI route? Simple. As a storyteller, he did it to bring his lyrics to life at a small fraction of studio costs. Judging by test listeners, he succeeded. Refusing to take credit for AI generated content and realizing the impact AI music generation is having and will have on working musicians, Ken has pledged 75% of all after tax royalties to MusiCares to help musicians in need.
